I went here when I was 13-14 and I was getting my braces off about 21 or so years ago. It was a good place back then (2003-4) when Dr. John Mccranels was there but the one thing that I do resent to this day is when they filed my K9 teeth without my permission. Again, this was in the early 2000s. (2003-2004) Anyway he filed my teeth and he said he was doing the front teeth to make them smooth but then went to the eye teeth (without me realizing it) he took off the points and rounded the K9 teeth and I didn’t realize what was going on and it happened so fast it only took a few seconds and by then it was too late for me to say “wait”. I feel like this seems to be a common “practice” which is wrong in my opinion. They should ask the patient either way. Even though I was 14 (a kid in their eyes) it’s still wrong because now it’s permanent. So it may not sound like a big deal but I liked my natural shaped teeth and he completely altered that. So to this day I am still resentful about it. It was not Dr. Scott though it was his father, Dr. John Mccranels. Wonderful Orthodontist and wonderful staff! They always make my child feel so comfortable at all her appointments. Dr. McCranel always takes time to explain what he is doing and answer all your questions. A very laid back and stress free office that’s always full of laughter and smiles. They corrected my child’s crossbite and her teeth are coming along beautifully. I highly recommend Dr. McCranel’s Orthodontics.

Dr. Alvarez , Dr. Scott and staff are amazing! My son and daughter loved Dr. Alvarez. She went into great detail explaining the treatment options and making sure the kids felt comfortable while explaining to them the process and making sure they understood everything. Dr. Alvarez and Nancy made the whole consultation experience a pleasure from start to finish. The whole team was “Professional and kind. I would highly recommend McCranels Orthodontics to anyone needing orthodontics. 😃”

I don't write reviews but have to about this place! I am 58 and had issues after having braces as a kid. I only wish I found this great Dr and his staff sooner! Everyone I know goes to him and now I do! Dr Scott's office and even the parking lot is so clean and inviting. Wait till you see how nice and fun this office is to be in! When I first went to Dr. Scott I was so impressed by the gal that answered the phone and even answered a few of my questions. My first visit there I knew I had finally found the BEST of the BEST! He even saved me money! Go to this guy and you will see why I love him and his staff. You will be so happy and writing a review too. Dr. Scott took plenty of time to answer all my questions and I never felt rushed. The women working for him do this all the time and know a bunch of stuff too. So nice! I hope you go.

I LOVE McCranels Orthodontics. They have been in WPB for decades and have done our whole families teeth, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, sister-in -law, niece, nephew, son, my cousins, and even friends. There is a minimal wait time in a fun office. The personal service was on point and the staff are super friendly. If they weren't we wouldn't keep coming back. They make a customized plan for each person and are reasonably priced. If you are even thinking about getting someones teeth done, make sure you check out this office before choosing a Dr to make your smile perfect, because Dr Scott can see that perfect smile hiding in everyone.
